Cairo, Egypt - 30^th of October 2022: In line with Emirates NBD Egypt strategy, which focuses on empowering and funding small and medium enterprises in Egypt & in light of the Central Bank of Egypt's strategy to increase that call upon bank to increase funding to this promising sector. Emirates NBD Egypt announces the launch of a new loan called (Tamkeen), that enables owners of small enterprises to obtain funds quickly.

The bank offers loans up to 1 million EGP to the bank's current and new clients, conditioned upon owning a company with annual sales turnover ranging between EGP 1Mn and EGP 20Mn and a two-year duration as a minimum time in the business.

The loans offer a relaxed and flexible repayment schedule that reaches up to 60 months, achieving the banks strive to support this crucial segment of clients and achieve economic development goals.

Mohamed Berro, CEO of Emirates NBD – Egypt said: "Emirates NBD – Egypt is working to ensure diversity of bank products and services so that it covers all the needs of its customers across all segments; this is why today we launch the 'Tamkeen' loan scheme that provides funds to owners of SMEs to fulfill the demands of this crucial segment of clients.
