  • How can I login to businessONLINE?

    Please follow the below steps:

    • Simply visit our website www.emiratesnbd.com.eg and click on the "Login to businessONLINE".
    • Enter your Subscriber ID, User ID, your login password and click on "Login".
    • Enter the OTP or response code accordingly. Upon successful validation, you can access businessONLINE.
     
  • Can I access businessONLINE through my mobile device?

    Yes, you can access businessONLINE via your mobile device. The businessONLINE app is available for download from the AppStore and Google Play Store, for free. Just open AppStore or Play Store and search for "businessONLINE – Take Control", you will see the app with Emirates NBD Bank logo.

  • I have forgotten my businessONLINE password. What should I do?

    In case you have forgotten your password, there is a very simple process to create a new password for yourself. On the login page, click on the 'forgot password'. All you need to do is enter your Subscriber ID, User ID and Generate OTP. This is done to validate your details. After this you can create a new password.

  • My user id is disabled. What should I do?

    If your User ID is disabled in businessONLINE, you may contact our Client Service team for assistance.

  • What is One Time Password (OTP)?

    OTP has been introduced as an additional security feature by Emirates NBD Bank safe' to protect your account from online frauds. It is a security system that protects you whenever a change in your login OTP is a unique six-digit sent to your mobile number registered with Emirates NBD Bank. The OTP will be sent to you on your first login and password resting. OTP is confidential and should not be shared with anyone, even if the person claims to be an Emirates NBD Bank’s official representative. Please ensure that your mobile number is updated with us to be able to transact online.

  • What should I do in case I have lost my token device or mobile soft token?

    Please contact Emirates NBD Bank's Client Services for assistance.

  • What is User ID?

    User ID is an alphanumeric field with minimum 3 characters and Maximum 32 characters is accepted, entered by the corporate themselves at the time of requesting for businessONLINE. The same is known to the user / corporate only.

  • Can I change my User ID?

    No, you will not be able to change your User ID, however, you may request for the existing User ID to be deleted and can request for a new User ID to be created (as required).

  • I am not Tech Savvy, is that a problem?

    businessONLINE is very straight forward and is user-friendly. If you require further assistance, our specialist will guide and assist you to the system. Moreover, we also have a dedicated client service team who is ready to assist on your inquiries. You may reach our client services team for assistance.

  • When can I use businessONLINE?

    With businessONLINE, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days week.

  • How would I know if my profile is created on businessONLINE?

    Upon creation of profile an email notification will be sent to the contact person of the company.

  • Who can use businessONLINE?

    Any corporate who has banking relationship with ENBD Bank and having current account with us can use businessONLINE.

  • What are the precautions that needs to be considered while using businessONLINE?
    • Please don't use obvious passwords which are easy for people to guess (like name of spouse, date of birth, alpha or number in sequence etc.).
    • Please don't disclose your password to anyone, including staff of Emirates NBD Bank.
    • Please change your password at regular intervals (at least once a month), more so if you have accessed Business Online from a shared PC or a cyber-café.
     
  • What do I do if I do not receive OTP on my mobile number registered with Emirates NBD Bank?

    We request you to call us at our Client Service and check if your registered mobile number is correct. If the registered mobile number is incorrect, please visit your nearest ENBD Bank Branch and submit the businessONLINE user maintenance form.

  • How do I know which OTP should be entered if I receive multiple OTP's?

    You should enter the latest OTP received on your mobile number.

  • How do I access my businessONLINE account if I do not receive OTP?

    You will not be able to access your Business Online.

  • Can I use the same OTP multiple times?

    No. OTP is a dynamic password and is valid for the current event only.

  • How many passwords do I have for businessONLINE?

    You have only one password for businessONLINE i.e. Login password. The login password, as the name suggests is required to login to your businessONLINE profile.

  • I do not remember my User ID?

    Please contact your System Administrator. In case of any difficulties, please reach out to your Relationship Manager or Client Service team.

  • What is to be done when a user gets the message "Access denied"?

    User should check for invalid login credentials - if the user's password is incorrect or account is locked.

    For incorrect password, please input the correct login password. If you are unable to remember the same, please reset your password. On the login page, there is a link for forgot password. You need to click on that page and create a new password. All you need to do is enter your Subscriber ID, User ID and Generate OTP. This is done to validate your details. After this you can create a new password.

  • What is the access rights provided to Enquiry Only user?

    This user would be able to view the account balance & download the account statement for which the corporate has given him access to (and not necessarily all the accounts).

  • What is the maximum number of users that can be created for a corporate?

    There is no such upper limit. It entirely depends on client's requirement.

  • When I login to businessONLINE, I am unable to see any account?

    You may reach our client services team for assistance.

  • I do not want multiple users to access my account. Is it mandatory to have more than one user?
    No, it’s not mandatory to have multiple users. If only one user should be allowed to login businessONLINE then there will be no workflow rule set up and that user can independently access the accounts and make transactions and place service rest on his own without any approval.
  • Is there any expiry period of login and transaction password?

    Yes, there is an expiry period of login password as per bank’s policy (i.e. 90 Days). However, OTP is valid only for 60 seconds.

  • What accounts will I be able to access through businessONLINE?

    You can access your Current Account, Deposit Account, Loan Account and Credit Card from the Online Banking Service. Our Online Banking Product is intended to give you as much access, security and versatility as possible.

  • Can I download statements?

    Yes, you will have 24/7 access to your Banking transaction and will be capable of downloading your Bank statement as per your selected period (Up to 180 days).

  • What formats can I download my transaction history?

    You can download the transaction history in PDF, Excel and Comma Separate Values (CSV) & MT940 swift message.

  • Can I make payments to other Banks as well?

    If you have subscribed for a businessONLINE package which permits Local and International transfers, you will be able to make payments to other banks.

  • Do I need to be in the country while approving transactions?

    No, businessONLINE provides you with the flexibility to access your online profile at anytime from anywhere around the world. All you would need is your login credentials, a Soft Token application and access to the internet.

  • What is the default daily limit on businessONLINE?

    The default daily transaction limit is EGP 149,000,000. However, you can request the bank to change the pre-set daily limits.

  • Is there any limit on the amount of funds that can be transferred through businessONLINE?

    By default, there are no limits setup. However, if required, businessONLINE provides you with the flexibility to place three types of limits -

    • User level limits for Maker Authorizers – Place a transaction limit for Users who have "Maker and Authorizer" access.
    • Workflow limits – Setup limits as per your company's payment mandate.
    • Daily transaction limit – Place a limit for the maximum payment value which can be released by your company online, per-day.
     
  • I would like to change / increase my businessONLINE limits. How can I achieve this?

    Please contact our client service team who will guide you with changing the required limits.

  • Is there an expiry period for approval of transaction?

    Yes, transactions which are not approved within 30 days from the date of initiation, will get rejected.

  • Can I schedule future transfer?

    Yes, you may schedule future Value Dated transaction.

  • Why am I not able to do financial transactions after logging in businessONLINE?

    Account holders with joint or conditional operation rights may not have access to some features. In case you require any further clarification rest you to contact the branch.

  • Can the client login from Admin ID using mobile application?

    Administration module not available in Mobile application.

  • Are there separate charges for enabling soft Token?

    There is no separate cost for Soft Token.

  • If I am migrated client which password should I use on first login to businessONLINE?

    The migrated user will have to use their existing smartBUSINESS 2.0 password. In case the password is expired, the user will be prompted to change the password.

  • How do I know that a particular transaction is processed?

    The transaction status is updated on the channel. The status of the processed transaction will be “Processed by Bank”. Also, the same can be checked in your account statement.

  • How do I access businessONLINE if I have international number, will I be able to receive SMS OTP?

    Yes, you will be able to receive SMS OTP in your international Number. Please note there could be few operator which may delay the delivery of the SMS or does not deliver the SMS OTP.

  • What is the session time out period?

    The session time out period is 5 minutes.

  • Can I have OTP and Soft Token options at the same time?

    Yes, you can have OTP and Soft Token as authentication type.

  • Will I be able to login immediately upon closing the browser without logging out appropriately?

    Yes, you will be able to login to channel.

  • Is multi login possible for given user?

    No, multi-login is not possible for a user.

  • How can I cancel a transaction and what status would appear in the application?

    A user can cancel the transaction from his / her queue if the user having the access of it and it will follow the workflow matrix as updated in channel. User can view the transaction in the transaction Inquiries under “Payment Type” field as “Cancel Transaction”.

  • How to download the archived statements?

    You can provide date range in the range of 180 days.

  • How many years' statements can be viewed online?

    The statements are available for 7 years.

  • How will I generate MT940 statements online?

    Currently, the MT940 statements are available. ( first you need to register under MT 940 to get the statement on MT940 format , on business online through account service tab (generic service request) , click on account and download the MT940 )

  • How will I view the Swift copy (Inward and Outward)?

    You can download and view SWIFT copy for the outward remittances only. The SWIFT copy for the inward remittances is not available and will be available in our next release.

  • File upload - what all file extension is supported?

    businessONLINE supports Excel, CSV (Comma Separated Values), Txt file with delimited (comma, pipe).

  • File upload - what all delimiters is supported?

    businessONLINE supports few delimiters like comma and pipe.

  • BT payment (within emirates NBD) - Will user be able to select a different currency other than account currency?

    Yes, user will be able to select different currency for all within bank transfers through business online under initiate payment menu – within bank transfer

  • How many years transaction can be viewed online?

    businessONLINE will have transactional data for a year.

  • How will I perform deal payments online?

    Currently available except for allocation payments (from EGP to other currency)

  • How will I perform batch recall and Individual recall?

    You will have option to recall the transaction after right-click on a particular transaction. For more information, please refer to the demo available in our website and refer to the online help available in businessONLINE.

  • How to do Beneficiary registration as a single and file upload?

    User can register a beneficiary from Initiate option as "Add Beneficiary" and can also register multiple beneficiary through "Beneficiary Upload" option.

  • What will be the Payment Types used for Transfers within Emirates NBD/Emirates Islamic, LCY and FCY?

    Following payment types will be used:

    • Transfer within Emirates NBD/Emirates Islamic – WITHIN BANK PAYMENT
    • LCY – LOCAL CURRENCY PAYMENT
    • FCY – FOREIGN CURRENCY PAYMENT
     
  • How will I get notified for rejected transaction?

    User will get the notification upon rejection of transaction by subsequent approver.

  • Will I get notified to authorize/release the transaction?

    Yes, you will get a notification for a transaction to be authorized or released.

  • How will I download template details to perform file uploads?
    • You need to navigate on the relevant product for transaction processing through file upload.
    • Select the relevant template name from drop down and click on "Template Details".
    • You will get all the relevant details (i.e. Field Name, Data Type, Field length, Required, Sequence, description etc.). You can download the template and fill the requisite details as mentioned in template.
     
  • Can I send a query from businessONLINE directly to Client Service team?

    No, you cannot send query to Client Service via businessONLINE.

  • Where can I check the status of payment?

    You can check the status of the transactions under Payments -> Transaction Summary tab.

  • What kind of statuses will get displayed right from initial to end stage of processing?

    You can view various transaction status in businessONLINE. Few of the status are as follows:-

    1.Pending Verification
    2.Pending Accept 3.Ready for Authorization
    4.Ready to Release
    5.Sent to Bank
    6.Processed by Bank

  • Can I send a recall or amendment request online?

    Yes, you can send a recall or amendment request via businessONLINE for Foreign Currency Transfer.

  • Which option authorizer needs to visit to view the transactions listing for his/her approval?

    Authorizer need to go to "Payments" tab and click on Pending Activities.
